Wake up, start your day without interrupting your fast.
Mix one packet with 17–24 oz. of water (add more or less to taste)
Drink it hot or cold.
Take Balance 15 min before lunch and/or dinner.
Pour into 8-10 oz. of cold water. Give it a few quick shakes.
Drink immediately (don't let it sit!). Wait 10-15 min. before eating.
Time-based eating, also known as intermittent fasting, is a core practice in the Feel Great approach.
Start your fast after dinner and wait 16 hours before your next meal.
It may take your body time to adjust. If needed, start with a 12-14 hour fast and work your way up to 16.

Pro Tips

Embrace the cold
Balance solidifies in warm water. Use colder water to give yourself time to drink Unicity Balance before it solidifies. (You want it to solidify in your stomach, not your cup!)
Shake it fast
Balance mixes best with a shaker bottle or a hand mixer. Give it a few quick shakes and drink immediately.
Drink immediately
Drink as soon as it's mixed. Balance is most effective 10-15 min before your meal. But don't stress if you have it just 5 min before your meal.

Frequently asked questions.
Can I drink Balance more than twice per day?

Yes. If you do have more than two meals per day (assuming you haven’t reached the 16-hour fast mark yet), we recommend taking Balance before each meal.

There’s no need to drink Balance twice per day if you’re only having one meal.

Yes. If the meal you’re about to eat is particularly high in carbohydrate or sugar content, we recommend having an additional serving of Balance.

Introducing fiber (Balance) can increase gas or bloating in some people. This is a normal reaction as your body begins to acclimate to the increased daily fiber intake. The effects should diminish after 2–3 weeks. If you’re very uncomfortable, consider halving the portion of Balance you take before each meal for 3–7 days.

Balance is designed to thicken. We suggest using at least the minimum recommended amount of water to avoid choking. If you find Balance to be too thick, feel free to add more water. Don’t forget to drink Balance immediately after mixing. It is designed to thicken in your stomach, not in your cup!
